About Us

      Most of us have been riding since childhood and simply loved to race and hang out together.  About five years ago, we started 2 UP Racing. It was just a group of guys on dirt bikes out to run some races and have a good time.  Where there was fresh dirt, that's where you'd find us!  It wasn't until later that the group started to grow and minis came into the picture. It was Billy who first introduced them and we all laughed at him. No way were we gonna get on that "little" bike.  We gave those up after we grew out of them!  The idea slowly caught on and we each eventually got our own. It really wasn't until we all went out and raced at the Mini Moto SX in Las Vegas last May, that we got a true appreciation for what those "little" bikes were made of!! Not quite the bikes we had grown out of as kids. It was then that we decided we needed to step it up a notch and trade in the Pinto for the Cadillac!! That is right.............."real" bikes.  So we got hooked up with some of the best known names in the mini moto world like Big Minis, SIK 50s/110s, Sano, CHP, PRC, Marzocchi, BBR and so on........ 

      When we got back to Virginia we were on a "mini moto high."  We knew it was time to wake up the east coast and get everyone on the mini moto bandwagon! That is how 2 UP minis came to be. Now we are a bunch of guys hanging out, ridin' minis, building bikes, selling parts and accessories, and doing all of the things that make this business a business and keepin' it fun all at the same time!!  It is nice to be able to do what we love!! We just want everyone else on the east coast to hop on the mini moto bandwagon, too!  It's time to show those west coast riderz what we are made of!!
